This past weekend we took a much needed couple of days and headed East to visit our grandson in Wichita! The trip was windy and we encountered several deer on the side of the long stretch of I-70 but overall an easy drive. Joseph was willing to take us by the hand and show us the streets of downtown Wichita and treat us to breakfast.
Enjoy Christmastime on the farm this year!
Reserve the pavilion for your company party or join us on December 13th for our annual “A May Farms Christmas” with Tony David & Wildefire. Christmas music and a prime rib dinner make this an unforgettable evening.
We have been hosting field trips nearly non stop through the month of October. Kids from all over the state travel to May Farms to learn about life on the farm, feed the animals and pick a pumpkin. We feel very lucky to have this sort of an impact, as this may be the only opportunity many children have to visit a farm. We enjoy the your feedback almost as much as we enjoy your visit. If you ever have a comment, question or concern please feel free to reach out to us!
My class came for a field trip on October 9th. We all had a wonderful time and the children are still talking about their experiences at May Farms! One of the parents told me that her son had a dream about feeding chickens (she overheard him talking in his sleep about feeding chickens and laughing). Thank you for creating such a welcoming and educational experience for our students.
Due to the recent snow we are a little muddy here at the farm. Today we would like to offer each paid admission ONE FREE PUMPKIN!
Please note – The mud has forced us to keep our hay rides and barrel train parked but we will have the barn yard, corn maze and activity acres available. Face painting and pumpkin launching will also be available.
We hope you and your family make the trip to May Farms today – please remember to wear shoes that you don’t mind getting muddy.
OCTOBER 25th – FREE TO THE PUBLIC!
Come on over to the farm and enjoy a good old fashioned barn dance! This event is FREE to the public and a celebration of the close of our “Harvest Season” This is a great and free way to get to know or catch up with folks in YOUR community. It would be our pleasure to host you for an evening of fun to celebrate the close of our busy season.
Every year May Farms brings a mobile pumpkin patch to children’s hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Today we donated over 200 pumpkins to the hospital allowing patients who are unable to leave the confines of the hospital walls to select their own holiday pumpkin. With the help of the Aurora Fire Department, Aurora Police, May Farms and the Country Kids foundation, this was made possible. This event is one of the highlights for our Fall Season.
Please enjoy these pictures of the wonderful day we had!
We woke up to some snow this morning! This blustery, snowy day will make it difficult to operate properly tomorrow with muddy roads and fields. We will be forced to remain closed for one more day to dry up a little bit. This also means we have canceled our Mustang Car Show and 5280 Pulling Competition. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please check back for updates regarding Sunday’s status and other activities.
